NWNS: N Chandrababu Naidu, former ally of BJP, in a staunch attack on the central government has termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a dictator. The former alliance TDP adopted a political resolution in its annual conclave “Mahanadu” in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada.

The resolution mentioned that in the recent meet of the opposition leaders at the swearing in ceremony of Kumar Swamy it was felt that the third front would come to power in the coming elections.

The TDP resolution also shed light on the party’s decision to sever ties with BJP-led NDA. The resolution said that TDP would make sure that the Modi-led government does not come back in 2019. “We ended the alliance with the BJP only in the interests of the states.

The BJP is resorting to conspiracy to remove us. We shall not bow for power. Ready to sacrifice everything. We shall fight until Andhra is given special status and the Polavaram project completed,” Naidu said addressing at Mahanadu, the TDP’s three-day annual conclave here.

Naidu also alleged the BJP-led central government of not releasing funds to the state. “The Centre has not been releasing funds for Amaravati because it does not want a world-class capital city to come up in Andhra Pradesh.

Then why should we pay Naidu further said during UPA rule the unemployment rate was 3.4 percent and now it is 6.23 percent. “Where is the ‘sabka sath sabka vikas’ that Modi promised to the people of the country, but it is just about the development of a few,” Naidu concluded.
