A Jharkhandi village yet to enter High School

Jamshedpur: From Atal Bihari Vapayees School Chale hum, to sarv sikhcha abhiyan nothing could help the dwellers of Jarki village of East Shinghbhum district. Not a single peron of this village has ever been to Secondary school. 

The most qualified person of this village, Maheswar Tudu, has attended school till eight standart. Besides him all the people of the villagers are illiterate. “The total population of our village is around 350 but there is not school at vicinity. We need to walk seven kilometer to study,” said Tudu.

Maheshwar Tudu shared his intrest for studying and reasons for his quiting halfway. He had to cross the high and low rugged streets of the mountainous area and went to the primary school ahead of Belajudi village, seven kilometers away from his house. After this, he got his education from Jalla village school upto class eight, 15 km away from the village.
2 years ago, govt has started a primary school in village, which has been upgraded this year. 15 students from village are pursuing education here.
