28 Fodder Scammers Convicted, more awaiting..
Ranchi, 23 Sep : Special court of CBI has convicted 28 accused of Crores Fodder Scam today. In the case no. 2A/2001 of illegal withdrawal 1 crore 19 Lacs from government treasury, there were 38 accused. Four of them have died and two are absconding. On 25th of this month, another judgement on case no. 40A/96 has to come.
In today’s judgement, the accused officers has been convicted for 6 years of prison and fine of Rs. 50 thousand each. While the accused suppliers will be jailed for 4 years and four women accused for 2 years each. The judgment includes some big known name like Dr. K N Jha, Dr K M Prasad, Tripurari Mohan, Ram Prakash Ram, etc. (Pix : Mahadeo Sen)
