Governor Initiates Green Jharkhand Campaign
Ranchi: The Governor M O H Farook initiated the Green Jharkhand campaign of FJCCI’s Women wing by planting a tree at the Raj Bhavan on Sunday.
He lauded the efforts of the Women wing in creating ecological awareness. Speaking on the occasion the governor urged the citizens of the State to plant one tree each. The president of the women’s wing said that they had set a target of planting 500000 trees. Many organizations are joining hands to make the campaign a success.
There were 2500 trees planted on the first day. FJCCI President Pradeep Sharma and his office bearers Vikas Singh, Ranjit Tibrewal,former president Anchal Kinger, Srimati Anjana, Soni Mehta, Monica and hundreds of members were present.
