Yuvraj Shahdeo Given Befitting Farewell
Ranchi: The Prince of Ratu and Congress MLA from Hatia, Gopal Nath Shahdeo was given a befitting farewell by hundreds of thousands of his followers, well wishers and political leaders.
His bdy was taken in procession to the Vidhan Sabha campus, where all the political leaders paid their last respect and homage to the departed leader.
Gopal Nath Shahdeo breathed his last in Varanasi on Monday afternoon and his body has been taken back to Varanasi for cremation.
Those who paid their homage included Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay, Speaker C. P. Singh. Rajendra Singh, Annapoorna Devi, Ravindra Rai, banna Gupta, C.S.Dubey, Geetashri Oraon, Sanjay Yadav, Sudesh Mahto, Umakant Razak, Chamra Linda, Ramchander Singh, Anant Pratap Dev, Pradeep Balmuchu, Governor’s Principal Secretary Sudhir Tripathi, DC K K Sone, SSP Praveen Singh and many district officials.
The departed leader’s body was also taken to the Congress head quarters at Shraddanand Marg before leaving for Varanasi. Many Congress leaders including Subodh Kant Sahay are accompanying the body for the last rites.
