RJD, Left Delegation Meet The Governor
Ranchi: A delegation of various Parties including the RJD, Left, Samajwadi Party and LJP met the Governor M O H Farook. The delegation urged the Governor to intervene to ensure that the Panchayat election dates are announced. The present government had announced in the Assembly that the Panchayat elections would be held before 30th of June but till date even the notification to the effect has not been made. The ruling alliance is more concerned about retaining their power rather than think about the State. The State is suffering at all ends due to their selfish motive.
The delegation also demanded that the Ranchi University workers should be paid as per the fifth pay commission recommendations. They demanded the rolling back of the increased energy tariff as it would prove to be an additional burden on the common man.
The delegation members included Girinath Singh, Annapoorna Devi, Sanjay Yadav, Manohar Yadav from RJD, CPM’s Gyan Shankar Mazumdar & Rajendra Singh Munda, CPI’s K D Singh, FB’s Janardhan Pandey and SP’s Jahanara and LJP’s Mithilesh Paswan.
