Ranchi: Thousands of Congressmen would gherao the Vidan sabha on Monday to protest the increase in VAT of petrol & diesel and demanding early announcement of dates for the Panchayat elections in the State. Addressing media persons State Congress president Pradeep Balmuchu said that the Party would press for these demands including early disbursement of harvest insurance to the farmers. He added that workers of the Party from all the districts will arrive in the capital to participate in the dharna.
