Uproar Over Removal Of Engineer
Ranchi: Legislator Nizamuddin raised the issue of the road construction under the PM Road Construction Project at the Giridih District’s Teesri Sub-division from Dalpatdih More to Belwana Karbla via Khantpok. He alleged that Jr. Engineer Pramod Kumar Srivastava was using sub standard material for the said construction and demanded his removal from Minister Haji Hussain ansari. Before the minister’s reply the Speaker intervened to counter ask the legislator as to whether his interest was in proper work or the removal of the engineer. This led to an uproar as the opposition did not take kindly to the Speaker’s intervention and Pradeep Yadav even advised the Speaker to stop wielding the stick in running the House. However the matter was resolved after Dy. CM Raghubar Das assured that the matter will be investigated and if found guilty the culprits would be suitably punished.
CM to reply to questions on Monday during question hour
CM Shibu Soren would be replying to the questions during the question hour on Monday. The Assembly would also conclude its debate on the budget and put up for voting. Tomorrow being Sunday is a rest day and the House will meet on Monday.
