Ranchi: The Special branch Inspector Francis Indwar’s assailant naxalite Goverdhan Munda has been nabbed by the Tamar police. On getting the information the police team raided the hideout in Adki area. Three more naxalite including two women were also arrested. The fifth person Ram Mohan however managed to flee. Goverdhan Munda is the second naxalite to be arrested in the Indwar abduction & murder last year.

It may be recalled that Francis Indwar was abducted from the Adki Bazaar last year and later beheaded by the extremists. Notorious naxalite Vikesh was arrested by the Ranchi police a few weeks later but the arrest of Goverdhan Munda and others involved in the heinous crime is considered as a major breakthrough. Munda also attempted to flee by jumping from a dam but broke his leg in the process, thus making it easy for the police to nab him and put him behind bars.
