Ranchi: Jharkhand Assembly Result 2009 states that any high profile leaders from Congress, BJP, JMM, RJD and JD(U) failed to retain their seats. Congress State president Pradeep Balmuchu, former Speaker Alamgir Alam, JD(U) State president Jaleshwar Mahto, RJD’s Gautam Sagar Rana and Girinath Singh, JMM’s Sudhir Mahto, another former Dy.CM Stephen Marandi, former minister Jobha Majhi, Furkan Ansari, Rameshwar Oraon, Saryu Rai and Radha Kishan Kishore were prominent in the list. The people rejected the re elections of tainted ministers Kamlesh Singh and Bhanu Pratap Shahi.
